Part 2 of the final battle wraps up tomorrow. Looking at how the writing is going, by next week the rough draft of Highborn will be done. This is absolutely unreal to me and its going to be so different having such an undertaking done.

Its been a process but Chapter 30 has been posted, the final battle is happening in the next 2 1/2 chapters, and only 4 chapters remain total! Then its rewrites haha but the fact that I am so close is extraordinary! Thanks for all the support, and helping me fully complete my first book!

We are so close to having the final chapters finished. With Chapter 29 being completed as we speak, we have the preparation for the final battle, the final battle and then the resolution. All in all around 5-6 chapters remain. So happy for the process that has taken place and the progress and growth that has been seen by my characters and me. Thanks for all the support!

Goals goals goals.... Needless to say I have fallen behind from my original goal of completing Highborn, but still ultimately I am happy with the progress that has been made, as well as the fact that I've been able to stick with it. From the looks of it the book will be finished in 12 chapters seeing that 24 is out tomorrow. 
          
          There is madness in the journey but I have learned so much, and if it hold up I'm hoping for publishing after much needed editing and revisions haha (We all know how much my grammar sucks!) But I do appreciate the support and I apoligize for not doing the same to you in return. That will change.

Its been a struggle to continue writing Highborn. Thinking on the other ideas I've had which would be done right now if I had done them first (250 pages) but nope, haha. This past week was a big search in myself on what I really wanted to do. If this story was really worth writing and most of all, if I was actually good enough to be a storyteller...
          After the long debate, I will say that Highborn will be finished and I will get it done. I am excited for this journey, especially the ups and downs. Makes this all worthwhile for me!

New chapter hopefully tomorrow. Its been a rough time and ive been reworking a number of things in the story, and its coming together. With everything it looks like once the 20th Chapter is posted there will be roughly 16 remaining, as we top off with about 500 pages. Next time remind me to write a book at about 250 pages haha

Chapter 17 somehow took a week to write. This was a rather difficult chapter due to the confrontation with Destin and the villain. At this point, yes obviously Viran is the villain but I wanted him to be justified in his action and in doing so making him better than the generic world domination. I want what he says to Destin to have a lasting impact and now that Gideon and Destin know the truth about Viran everything will change.
