I was born and raised in the Detroit suburbs. After discovering drugs in my early twenties when I turned 32 I realized my life had become completely unmanageable. Following the death of my mother, and many visits to rehab centers I decided enough was enough.  I moved to New York City in 2020 not to follow my dreams, but to discover what they even were.  With the help and support of some of the friends and family that never turned their backs on me, and some staff at Sacred Heart in Memphis, MI. I have been clean for a substantial amount of time. Although I miss my mom an unbearable amount every day, I will no longer live my life in constant misery due to addiction. I am a good person and what turns a good heart bad is to be sad on a regular basis. I now live my life comfortably and humanely; surrounded by people and things I love. I live with my cat, Alexis in Harlem.
