Anxious for when you return

Suppose I’ll post this here. Greetings! I haven’t posted in a while and thought I’d drop a note just in case anyone was curious.
          One of my other hobbies is programming a bot to compete in the RTS game Starcraft Broodwar. There’s a whole community and tournament around it. It’s pretty cool.
          Anyway. Over the past few weeks my focus has shifted from writing to coding. These creative avenues use a lot of the same portions of the brain so it’s hard to do both at the same time. Once I burn myself out from coding I’ll be right back to authoring. It’s a cycle that I’m familiar with. Once I grow tired of one I restart the other with vigor. It helps keep things fresh.

Something a bit different today. I had an idea that I wanted to write as a short story. It's not very long but I felt very drawn to the idea so I thought I'd post it. For now, it is complete in its current form. I might do more with the idea later on but for now it is meant to be a short, mysterious world that you only get a glimpse into. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you everyone!

Sorry for the long absence. I had a few busy weeks and let myself stay stagnate for too long. It was difficult to get the creativity ball rolling again but hopefully I'll keep it going with the progress I made today. Have a good one all.

Something new today. I had an idea for a new project that I just couldn't help but write out the first few chapters :) I'm committed to finishing Hunting Darkness, don't worry, so continue to expect regular updates to that story. I will wait to finish Fields of Ash until after Hunting Darkness runs its course. Thanks everyone and I hope you enjoy.

I apologize to my readers for the delay between these last two chapters. I've been a bit preoccupied with life but I should be back to at least one update a week, hopefully two. I hope you enjoy the new chapters :)

I was out sick for most of the day, I'll try to have the chapter out by tomorrow at the latest.

No update today. The semester is getting into the nitty gritty back half so my posts to Hunting Darkness might fall to Saturday only for a few weeks. I'll try to post twice a week but expect only one. Thanks all!
