Recently, I've been wondering about how artistic media is used to convey more profound messages. This is obvious to most, of course, but I have aspired to refine my craft to effectively communicate messages that I see as important from my learned experiences.
I have long had a passion for philosophical discussions and ideas, specifically as they relate to the self, self-experiences, and the relationship between the self and their existence.
Consequently, these stories tend to be perceived as 'darker', yet I see them as 'real' and something people can connect with at a human level. Of course, reality is not all bleak, and there is hope, and I always incorporate some element of hope into my writing, usually towards the end.
