I am a day-dreamer. As a child, I would escape from the boredom of learning into a world of my own - a world that enthralled me and captured my imagination. From the age of five, I have written prose and poetry and a few years back, I was published in a number of anthologies. That wasn't enough for me though - my dream was to write a thriller and so my imagination went crazy again and I planned my new book Third Time Lucky. It was far harder translating the ideas from my head into a 'real' book, but three years on, I have finally completed it and have now started the sequel.
Along with writing, my other passion in life is helping others. I am a Company Director for a wheelchair accessible vehicle converter. There is nothing quite as satisfying as delivering a specialist vehicle to a care home, knowing that the residents are able to enjoy a day out, breathing in the fresh air from the countryside, or simply enjoying the views from the minibus window. I am a very lucky lady to have two jobs that I love both of which, in a funny way, change lives by taking you somewhere else - just for a little while.
