Haven't been around for a while, but I just published a book of two short Christmas stories, one by me, one by another writer. My story features the same characters in one of my WP stories. Best part, the book is FREE. Available on all platforms (Amazon, B&N, iTunes, etc.). Title is 'TIS THE SEASON... by Jean Louise and Michael Yaworsky. Check it out for a couple of short--but heartwarming--holiday tales.

After all.... 'tis the season!! ;-)

Looking for a couple of FREE reads? On Amazon, It Takes a Thief is FREE Sunday & Monday (Oct 19 & 20). It's a fun caper story... "When you need results, sometimes it doesn't matter which side of the law you're on."

Also, Arrest Me is permafree on all platforms (for Kindle, Nook, iPhone, etc.). The light-hearted story of two cops and what they encounter on patrol. (Spoiler: sometimes it's less light-hearted and more potentially fatal.)

Check them out. After all, you can't beat the price!

"Good news, everyone!" :-) "Arrest Me" is available for download for FREE from all major e-book retailers (Amazon, B&N, iTunes, etc.). For those who haven't read it yet, why not download a copy and give it a try? :-) It's a contemporary story about two police officers.

Search for Arrest Me, by Jean Louise.

          Thanks!

Thanks for the read and votes kitty cat. Is the story progressing OK so far? Penny for your thoughts?

JYHarris

Hello, Katrin. My current WIP is sort of a sequel to Brief Encounter, and it's turning into an even stranger story than the original. (Strange meaning awkward in this case, since I'm not sure what I'm doing with it.) So I'll have to see how it comes out before I "share with the class."

Thanks for dropping me a line. I've been keeping up with Tia in Windcaster in the meantime. :-)

Hi @JYHarris! I saw your name pop up on the "adults" boards :) Nice to meet another Wattpad newbie. I see that you've been checking out some of the stories here - if you're still looking to add to your reading list, can I suggest my completed novel Waters of Oblivion? I'm always open to new feedback! It's a mix of romance/suspense/para: http://www.wattpad.com/story/7265464-waters-of-oblivion-book-1-of-the-beloved

@JYHarris Haha, no it's cool. I actually got the impression that you DID enjoy it. And I was born in Gastonia, which is also just outside of Charlotte. (TIP: When you reply again, hit the 'reply' button beneath this message and it will tag me in your response)

I live just outside of Charlotte, been here many years, altho not a NC native. BTW, I hope you didn't get the impression I didn't enjoy Sparkle... I thought it was a great parody. (Not even sure I'm qualified to say that, since I never read Twilight, but it was an enjoyable read.) :-p
