I have a new chapter up for you guys :) I’m currently in the process of writing the chapter where the third ‘monster’ is introduced, so the actual exciting part is coming up soon.
Just a question: is an ‘alt cafe’ a real thing? I just came up with a word for what I was trying to convey on the spot. Is there an actual name for things like that? Pls let me know.

I added a new character before I get too far into the story. It’s another ‘big scary’ because I like drawing/writing non-human characters. Their name is Pierre.
(I finally got my computer back, so I might be able to get a story part up?? I’m sorry for not having it up yet, School has been generous in giving me free-time, but my family has not.)
As with any post, any questions(minus giant spoilers) will be answered. I know I haven’t said much, but I’ve already built their world in my head, so I have all their lives planned out at this point.

Update: working on cover art; still figuring out the format—
I’m still figuring out part of the story. Ideas on how big scary gets made? I can’t decide if it should be:
A: some random homeless person gives me some weird looking food and ————- happens (no spoilers)
B: Scientist(Monster in Paris inspo) from a floor up in my building decides to break in while we’re gone and experiment on —————
C: some other thing happens to ————
Note: should I include some modern version of Francoeur + AMIP cast?? I really want to-

I might add some inspo from Osmosis Jones? I like some elements in that, so I could incorporate that in. Thoughts?
Mkay first question aside, (thank you for your input) should I include a modern version of the AMIP cast? Maybe not all the characters, like just Francoeur and Lucille, maayybe the other three, but just loosely based on them? I don’t want any copyright issues, much less 1910s French people wandering New York with a 7-foot flea without me.

Okay, I know I only have one follower currently, (tHaNk YoU sM) But I’m finally writing a story! It draws some inspiration from TMNT and Monster in Paris, although it may lean toward your stereotypical ‘big scary creature/alien befriends human and has to hide from antagonist’, but I’m hoping it stands alone a little bit. Every now and then I’ll drop a couple plot points if anyone is interested, and I’ll get the first part out soon.

I’m trying to figure out how to actually set a story up, I might try posting it on ao3 instead, but either way in need to find better time to get the actual work up. And I need to get the cover art started. Happy to see more people are interested though ;)
