Hi! I am a Turkish girl who barely started reading your books... I was just wondering... What is the REAL fact that made you write about Turkey?

@Whatthejuice The facts are more or less as written in the book, though some of the characters and events have been moved about and/and merged to help the narrative and to protect the guilty! We decided to move to Turkey then, after about a year, I started to blog about our experiences. This got a lot of attention and led directly to the first book. I still blog. But now we're back in England, the blog has a different focus.
