Day 1 of bits of Everfae cuz I'm very happy of my story and need to tell someone:
          
          The sun had already begun setting when I finished up my fishing. I had reeled in the line, frowning at the lack of fish on the hook. I sighed as I packed up my things, bait, extra lines, all of it. After hauling it all over my shoulder, I turned to my small house by the beach.
          It had been years since the last time I’d been visited by someone. And, as much as I wouldn’t like to admit, I missed people. I missed communication.
          I missed…him.
          But it had been years since I died, and there wasn’t anything I could do to bring him back.
          Kicking stray stones in my path, the black-haired fae sighed as I stopped outside my house. The war…it was so long ago.
          Too long.
