Hi I am Jackie and I am simply delighted that your here. I am hoping that you be encouraged to read my books, it is so exciting for me to write them (it gives me the opportunity to dream and be creative). Do you like to be creative too?

Most of the time I am sitting at my computer where I am either talking to it with my eyes closed so I can picture the story in my mind (I use dragon naturally speaking software to type what I am saying) or I am sitting here typing away changing bits here and there until I feel it is right. It is amazing what your mind can imagine it is just hard to put it into words and on screen!

I have 3 wonderful children, a very patient hubby and a dog who sits beside me every day listening to me type away. He really is a cutie and comes to my rescue when I get stuck and can’t think what to write, it is on these occasions that we grab his lead and off we go walking this is usually enough to refresh me so that when I return I am ready to write again.

If you have read some of my books you know I like to write adventure with a bit of mystery thrown in, I prefer short stories because these are ideal for lunch breaks or when you’re waiting for an appointment or have a little spare time to yourself.

I always carry my kindle with me when I am on a bus, train or in waiting for an appointment, you know when you’re waiting in the doctor’s room or the vets or the dentist (helps to keep your mind of the sounds of those drills!) I even have a kindle reader on my computer so I can read there and my iPad also has a reader so I always have one at hand. I haven’t read a book on my phone because it is way too small for me but I have seen others reading on their phones it is simply wonderful!
