In my 18 years of life... I have come to view emotion in a very pessimistic way. No matter what happens, I always end up like Sisyphus. He is the character of a damned good Greek story. Sisyphus was cursed in the afterlife to roll a boulder up a hill for all eternity. When he nears the top of the hill, the boulder falls back down. This is like emotions. I can get happier and happier. But I will always fall back down. My boulder will always roll around me and drag me back down.
