Well I obviously haven't worked out this message board as no one answers my question

How do you drum up more reads for your chapters?  How do people know when you have uploaded work?  Answers on a postcard please

I suppose it could just be the latest fad what with Spartacus Blood & Sand et al.  A certain Mr W now has well over 300 reads would you believe!!  I am now up to 80+ with 9 votes and like you both stories are running about equal in the read, vote stakes.

I am suprised at what catches the imagination, paricularly in the ancient history genre??  Mine are two different types completely but similar results

Thanks for commenting.  I don't know how or why a book gets read, mine seem to come in little spurts and then nothing.  And it's not as if I have been reading and recommending others and they have returned the compliment, strange.
          

I couldn't have noticed the options when I uploaded but I've had a look round and was able to put in a short synopsis under details when I clicked on manage against both books and that activated the Table of Contents to appear. Still no comments, but perhaps that is a comment in itself!!

Those options just came up when I loaded the book - I didn't do anything special.

ok, think this is a message (I catch on quick, not) but they haven't so far come up in my inbox I only saw your reply when I came back to your page ??? Anyway was out most of yesterday so didn't see your email till late.  What I would like to know is, how did you get 1) a synopsis, 2) a table of contents 3) I've forgotten what 3 was now..... A-L G
