I am currently working on a new book, but I am stuck on how long a chapter should be. Is 1,000 words too short (for one of my chapters)?

@LowaLowa1 Thank you so much. I always struggle with chapter-length because I want to end it great, but I also do not want to cut the chapter too short.

I think the amount of words isn't a huge deal. However I think it's the best to keep the word count between 1000 and 5000. So I think 1000 is good, as long as you don't go with much less. However like I said this isn't a rule. Sometimes you need to end chapters just at a certain point and ending at the right point is way more important in my eyes.

Okay, that was a really long story xD

Thanks for the follow! In which language do I need to use? English or Dutch?

LowaLowa1

Okay, I'm not great at English so don't mind me making a few mistakes.

Thank you! I'd really enjoy making them.

No problem. I speak English. I started following you after I saw the cover you made for “The Maffia Boss with the President’s Daughter”. You are truly talented at making book covers!

I’m currently reading “The Story of My Life” by Helen Keller. It’s a good book, but I wouldn’t be reading it if it wasn’t for English. But Helen Keller was truly a remarkable woman. She struggled, but she triumphed. She faced insecurities, but overcame them. She even learned Algebra and Geometry, which is hard enough when you can hear and see. One thing that surprised me the most was she learned French and German! I can barely learn Spanish. Although she was very intelligent, it was more the hours upon hours of work she put in. And with the help of her teacher, she never gave up.

It just occurred to me, that it’s women’s history month, and she’s truly someone to aspire to be.
