@BarryZ24 Yeah, of course, I'm glad to answer your questions! I appreciate you coming to me with them.
            
            This is a very important question, and I would honestly be very careful if I were you. I'm not 100% sure how readers would react to such a drastic change since I haven't really done anything like that, but if you think it would suit your artistic view and you're writing to have fun, I would go with it. But if you're writing to gain a popular fan base, I would play it safe and follow the traditional story line, adding a few butterfly effects here and there to show youre not scared to change something.
            
            But most people when they read an OC/insert book, they come in with a certain expectation for how this OC will interact with characters they are familiar with. So if you're very confident in your writing skills and aren't worried about that, then proceed with the removal of that scene or character. But if you're asking for my personal opinion, I would keep the most iconic scenes.
            
            In my own book, I actually removed the scene where Goku is supposed to achieve Mastered Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of power. But readers were fine with it, because I replaced that hype with Super Saiyan 5 Y/N and Vegito appearing instead. I ended up giving Goku MUI later in the story instead. 
            
            That way, the scene still happened, but at a later time.

            As for my final question, it'd be this: when it comes to more iconic moments and characters (as examples let's use Goku becoming Super Saiyan and Vegeta existing as a character), do you think the story could work without them, and would it be a huge risk to remove moments/characters like those from the story? Not entirely remove them, obviously, some things are just meant to happen regardless, I'm mainly asking this in regards to characters. It's easy enough to add a character, but it's an entirely different thing to remove an iconic staple of the franchise. I waa thinking of making such a bold move myself, however, having seen how a small, but loud, group of people on social media react to such things, I can't help but feel intimidated by the thought.
