At the beach, in every life by Gigi Perez fills me with such a unfathomable ache, like I get this twisting pain in my stomach. It’s genuinely so beautiful and emotional :’) I’m so glad I got to hear it live. Very Swan and Eren!!! 

The life of a showgirl was exceedingly dull. I'm disappointed, but not surprised, cause this is exactly what I was expecting lol. The composition was exceedingly lusterless and generic. Even her lyricism (which is typically the saving grace of her songs) was lacking. There was absolutely no variety in the production or memorable crescendo that could have rescued the songs, it just felt like watered-down Walmart Sabrina Carpenter music. I was hoping that Taylor would make a rock album, or at least diverge from her drab superstore synth route (because she def does have that range) but she also knows her fanbase will eat up any music she puts out… (and this is coming from someone who likes most of her music.) Hope this gets a deluxe like TTPD did with better lyricism and production.

AL FANS PLEASE READ THIS!! So, after throwing myself into a deep void of contemplation for months, I have decided that I no longer feel the same attachment I once felt for the Tom Riddle fandom for various reasons. 
          
          To begin with, this fandom has continuously exhibited discrimination against anyone who isn’t a cis, straight white man or woman. I have encountered disproportionate amounts of bigotry, including racism towards myself and others, as well as homophobia, transphobia, ableism etc.. Don't even get me started on the blatant superiority complexes of the primarily yt, cishet ppl in this fandom. 
          
          2. Not only that, but the number of people who go out of their way to make alt accounts to harass and doxx others is genuinely insane. I'm appalled that it happened to me and my moots whom I care deeply about. This had a horrible impact on my mental health to the point where I currently take antidepressants. 
          
          3. JK’s unbridled bigotry, if it wasn't clear already. Her ceaseless transphobia is so indescribably harmful and horrendous, and I do not wish to be associated with such a wretched individual. 
          
          That being said, I will still complete AL at my own pace and publish acts in their entirety for you all to binge. 
          
          !! However, the good news from all this toxicity is that I will be self-publishing AL!! The rewrite will be untethered from the HP universe entirely, with a darker, Gothic setting and plot steeped in mainly Pakistani and Islamic folklore and mythology. It will focus on the Qadir Coven and Anya’s development under unjust colonial oppression, with a romance subplot!! 
          
          Thank for reading this announcement and I hope my AL readers continue to support me on this journey. I truly appreciate those of you who have been by my side for this fic and expressed your overwhelming support. For that, I am eternally grateful, and I would love it if you follow me again om this journey for the rewrite.

Ai is such a plague on this app. If you use ai for your books or fics, I will automatically assume you use it for your writing as well. Especially if it reads like ai, is written incredibly fast, and scores 100 percent on ai detectors on every paragraph… 
          
          Now, I’m aware many authors write in their drafts before publishing their entire fic, and that is totally different! I am not referring to my talented ppl who plan like masterminds. However, It’s very obvious when someone’s writing voice is theirs vs when it’s refined/generated by Ai. 
          
          At this point, I feel like if you have learned the harm of ai (environmentally detrimental, funds gwordside), and still use it for creative purposes, then you shouldn’t call yourself a writer or artist. Like what happened to picsart graphics like God intended?? We are losing ancient scripts smh…
