Just posted Chapter 31. I hope you enjoy it! I was going to post it for Halloween as a little suprise and something in-between a major chapter. Contains mostly world building, but the events that take place will give context to a later chapter. I also have something planned for Halloween, so watch out for that!

I don't really know how to start this as this is something that comes from my heart and can't really be started in a way that feels natural, but it's been over a year since I started writing Running With the Devil. So much of my heart has been poured into it along with many life experiences and people and so much more that have inspired this book.
          
          I've just updated the book with part two of the last chapter. Updates will continue for this book until it is finished, like I promised. And then, even in the future, I will be making a final version as this is sort of a draft. I've also been producing a look at the locations in the book and maybe will have some artwork commissioned (if you are interested, please contact me). Also, I've been thinking about putting together a little something to exhibit my inspirations and how I came about them so other authors can see how I found mine.
          
          The updates have getting slower, obviously, and I've had a schedule, but I'm sorry that they have taken so long as I'm sure you want to continue reading. There is also the fact that maybe you're afraid that it will never be updated again like so many others. I strive for quality over quantity, but it reaches a limit where when there is no quantity, there is no quality because there is simply nothing being made. And I don't believe in the "just take your time" stuff as there should be somewhat of a standard to uphold because if not, then I will get sloppy ;) ;) ;).

@Catcatbird2 Thank you very much. I realize that life must come first, and that's why I'm taking this break, but also I have a very stable life, thankfully, and I try to use that to my advantage. Thanks again for commenting and reading. It means the world.

@Jaggwire since you don't believe in "take your time" I'll say this, running with the devil is epic, and I can't wait for the return, but do be mindful that life always comes first.

@Rob91oo The story has a conclusion already that I have been building up to. The idea was that the story would take place over one year over the four seasons, and since we are at the end of fall, the story is reaching its end.
            
            This is a draft because I've been writing as I go. I hope to refine the story down to a concise point. Some concepts were developed during the writing as that's when ideas come to me, so I want to introduce them earlier. 
            
            I get when people say, "Take your time." No one should ever feel pressured to complete a story or neglect their well-being; you take priority.
            
            But thanks for responding and actively engaging with me since the beginning. It's been over a year, and it means a lot to me!

Sorry it took so long to publish this chapter. I wasn't really happy with it and rewrote it several times. I didn't want to delay posting it any longer and pushed myself a little to get it out so you guys can continue to enjoy this story. Hopefully, the next chapter doesn't take as long, but there are a lot of plot points to keep track of, and they all have to connect. But that is what makes a story interesting and enjoyable, so enjoy!

@Jaggwire You calm down and take your time, it is better that you take your time to make the story progress as you want without errors and a good story, a very good chapter by the way.

103,544 Words in "Running With the Devil" so far. That is according to Wattpad anyways.
          
          I've noticed that when publishing my most recent chapter that there is a significant number of you who read it, or atleast check it out, within the first few days. It's means a lot to me to see this, like you wouldn't imagine and motivates me to finish the book because it let's me know that people actually enjoy it and makes the effort I put in even more worth it. 
          
          This makes me really happy, like you wouldn't believe. So thank you guys, whether I'm talking into the wind or not. 
          
          I have teased my next major book in this most recent chapter, I hope you stick around to enjoy that one too. It won't be out for a while as I have to finish the current one, one at a time, but the world building and concepts are what you will come to expect from me.
