I'm a high school English teacher who enjoys reading, writing and the thrills of bipolar disorder (manic depression). As Poe once said "I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity."

My favourite genre of literature would probably be magical realism, this year I've been reading a lot of Murikami. I like some of Kafka's writing whilst not being much of a fan of the man himself.

Writing is such a deeply personal and emotional pursuit, whilst it is nice to have people read my work, and even nicer when they have something good to say about it, ultimately I write for myself.
