I am a thalassophile. (In case you are wondering, it means a person who loves the sea. It also refers to someone who feels safe and comfortable around the sea.)

And yes, I can spend hours simply gazing at the sea, relaxing on the soft sand, mesmerized by the sound of the waves and the tranquility.
