I've been taking a bit of a break from wattpad lately... mainly because I've got SOOOOO much going and because I also feel like I've been having a massive case of writer's block. Hopefully I'll get some creative inspiration back soon, but for now i'm taking some time off.

Hi People, I've had a lot going on this past week and Ive hardly been able to write or go on Wattpad at all.  This has been very annoying and hopefully with the weekend rolling in, I'll be able to read and write some more. I hope to get the latest chapter of Deep Blue out as soon as possible which will hopefully be in a few days If I push myself. Stay tuned!

Sorry I haven't updated for a while I just got back from a trip and where we were staying there was no wifi at all!!!  Chapter 5 of Deep Blue is my first real attempt at poetry (which isn't too great...) but yeh, you can check it out if you want. I wanted to include a music of video of California Dreamin' (The original by the Mama's and Papa's) in chapter 4, but EVERY SINGLE ONE ON YOUTUBE IS BLOCKED!!!! (Reading: This video contains content from UMG. It is restricted from playback on certain sites.) Arrghhhafssdfghjkl!!! If anyone knows a way around this tell me, because the same thing happened in chapter 1 where I had to get a cover of a guy signing 100 years (by five for fighting), instead of the actual song because it was blocked!!! Background music is an important part of Deep Blue, so If anyone knows a way around this, can you please tell me? Thanks, James

Sooo... The plan for Deep Blue now is to make a collection of short stories, poems, quotes, advice, random stuff like text message transcribes and song lyrics together so they weave a story about school and growing up. Feel free to submit your own stuff to put in it if you want, this would really help me and It would be good to have some real life experiences in there. But yea, that's the plan for now. (Also just saying.... Here in Australia we don't have middleschool, high school starts at year 7 and goes until year 12, so feel free to submit (preferably more) middle school stories, because that's the equivalent of the highschool ages I want to focus on). So Deep Blue is work in progress at the moment, and I've also got another project I'm working on which I hope to publish soon, but if you want Deep Blue to be completed quicker, go submit your own stories and experiences to it! I'd really appreciate it!!!

I'm still trying to decide what kind of story I want Deep Blue to be... a kind of poetic serial? A first-person short story about school and growing up? Or even something novel length????? I'm still trying to make up my mind and I might need  to rewrite the whole story but for now, Deep Blue is kind of on hold-ish, but hopefully not for long.

Yay I've posted the first chapter of my new story! The description is crap and the whole story itself will probably need a lot of tweaking, but it's a start! If you don't mind Id really appreciate if you check it out and give some feedback.

@GonIsMySpiritAnimal thanks a lot for the advice and I have been listening to a lot of music especially lately. I'm thinking of making my possible next story (named deep blue) being a kind-of coming of age story? But yeah,  music is absolutely brilliant for writing inspiration, especially when it's really epic music!

Hey! Jamesayswow! I'm not sure how you're doing on story inspiration, but have you tried listening to some music lately? I find it usually helps me out a ton. I either get ideas for how to make a new story, or how I can improve on a story idea I've had in the past. You can do whatever, I mean, I'm not you and I can't read your mind, but I just figured it'd help you out some...
