Jamie Bryant lives in Florida with her husband, her two year old lab, her old cat, and her ancient cockatiel.  She is not writing this in the third person to sound pretentious but rather because she was told this is the way it was done. 
    Jamie worked in the field of social services for many years and is now retired for health reasons although she is not that old, but she has to put all of that dark humor and sarcasm somewhere, not that she got to use it that often in her previous profession.  At least many in management didn't seem to appreciate it when she did.      
   Also, she loves horror, I mean, LOVES horror novels, short stories, movies, television shows, you name it. She loves other things too, but you get the idea. 
    So she loves horror, she grew up in a dysfunctional family, just throwing that in there, worked in social services, has a dark sense of humor, and loves to read, and also to write, which she has been doing since she was a child to survive said dysfunctional family. So, now that she has time, she is writing and loving it and hoping you will give it a read. She hopes you will enjoy it and maybe laugh and even get a bit scared every now and then. 
Oh, and she has a blog where she shares her thoughts. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes serious, sometimes a combination, but always honest.
