Hi there Wattpad, it's been some time. 
          
          I guess I should re-introduce myself. My name is Jamie J. McNicol, I once attempted to become a writer, but due to a multitude of reasonings behind it; it did not become a reality. Though here I am, two years since I made this account -- I have decided to come back and pick up where I last left off. 
          
          Now looking at my past stories, some have made me cringe and some have given me hope -- that I can re-write, re-edit, and re-love some stories that I have out there. 
          
          I guess time will tell, have a good day.

Everyone, I need your help spreading a message.
          
          The world is cruel enough.
          
          In 2015 alone, 828,000 people committed suicide. Globally, more than 264,000 people suffer from depression. 
          7.3% of the world population has anxiety. In 2015, one country alone had 164,000 people with autism.
          20% of teenagers are bullied every day.
          
          These statistics alone prove that the world, at times, is not a kind place. 
          
          People need to stop with the jokes. You have no idea how much it hurts when people joke around about suicide, depression, anxiety and autism. 
          
          The jokes and ‘hilarious’, unserious comments that go something like:
          
          Suicide:
          “Ha. I wish I could die.”
          “Go kill yourself.”
          
          Depression:
          “Ugh, I’m so depressed.”
          “Why don’t depresses people make themselves happy again? Haha.”
          
          Anxiety:
          “Look at you- you’re so scared over a measly presentation; it’s not that difficult.”
          “If you have anxiety, just stop being anxious.”
          
          Autism:
          “Hahaha, I’m so autistic.”
          
          Bullying:
          “OoOooOOo stop bullying me!”
          
          Suicide is not a joke.
          Depression is not something to laugh at.
          Anxiety is not attention-seeking.
          Autism is not funny.
          Bullying hurts people so, so much, more than you could ever realise.
          
          Words cut like a whip. Even when not directed towards them, those careless comments can wound people more than you can ever imagine.
          
          The world is cruel enough. 
          It needs Kindness.
          
          So, I propose a new hashtag. 
          One to use on Wattpad whenever you see someone making fun of these topics or bullying someone.
          Stand up and say, “That’s not okay.”
          
          Put a stop to it. #BeKind.

Dear readers and followers,
          I have been so busy and focused on one task that I have forgotten and abandoned Wattpad.  I am so sorry for this, that is why I have been spending two weeks trying to change and make my online presence better. From the first of august, I will be releasing my website/blog, I will also start posting more stuff on my new social media. I am going to be announcing a new title that will be added to my library of books, you can expect this around the twentieth of August, though the date is not decided. And this will be coming out late August on a weekly basis.
          This good news does come with some bad news too, sadly I will be discontinuing  Love, Cheat, and Murder as well as The Wall Between us. I may start working on this in the future though I am trying to publish a book before 2022, that is my main goal. More information will be coming after the release of my next book.

I know this has been some time since I last posted, I have been going through a rough patch in my life. But hey, I am now here  with a bigger smile!
          
          My new book, The wall between us, is being released on a very strained schedule, and Love, Cheat, and Murder is being held back for now. Though if you want it back, do #bringitback So I know yous want it, thank you so much!1
