Hey lovelies!! 
          
          Thank you to everyone for sticking around and keeping up with me over the break. As I mentioned in my updates, this school semester was a really rough 15 weeks. We had a family friend pass away very suddenly and it took an emotional toll on me and my family. That, along with the pressing stresses of being a full-time student urged me to take a break from the fic until after school was over. 
          
          Currently, I passed all my finals and am slowly finding ways to get back to normal. As life starts to become “easier” again, I found myself really excited to return to this story. 
          
          AND HERE WE ARE!! 
          
          I made it and I am completely refreshed and ready to keep writing on this awesome story that deserves to be told. I can’t wait to show y’all the next few chapters! 
          
          A few notes: 
          
          1- if you noticed, I am currently doing some construction on the chapters. Since it’s been so long, I thought I’d reintroduce myself to the story and do some editing along the way. I’m planning on doing a chapter or two a day, which means I’ll start writing the next chapter next week. 
          
          2- with all of this in mind, I’m shooting to have the next chapter out two weeks from today. I know this is a long time, but considering the edited chapters, plus writing a new chapter, I think it’s realistic. 
          
          SO

Hey everyone, 
          
          Just wanted to let y’all know I’m not dead and that I apologize for being gone for so long. These first weeks of school have been insane because along with school I’ve also been volunteering for a non-profit, and also I got a freaking job (don’t know why I did that to myself because I barely have time to breathe now ) 
          
          Sooooo... thank you all for your patience and still reading and stuff even though I haven’t updated in a good bit. 
          
          One thing I wanted to say is that I think that while I’m in the school year, I’m going to have to update every three weeks (groan) instead of 2. I really hate this because I love writing and if my entire life could just be writing on this fanfic and nothing else, y’all would have chapters twice a week. 
          
          But unfortunately, the world doesn’t seem to take priority in TMNT fanfics and instead wants me to be an adult or something. (Eww) so, I’ll be releasing the next chapter sometime next week. Hope you guys find it worth the wait!

Hey guys, thank y’all for the patience. I haven’t been around much lately because I had a close family friend pass away over last week and it’s been really hard to recover. 
          
          Thankfully, I think I am starting to get back to normal life and I’m itching to let out all this pint up writing energy. I’m not going to promise to post this Sunday (very unlikely) and I’m also not promising for the next because I don’t want to stress myself out over it with everything going on. School is still happening even with this horrible occurrence and so that is something that has to be a priority. 
          
          Anyway, I am still here and reading all of the messages and comments and they make me so happy so keep them coming. I’ll update as soon as I can. 
          
          Thank y’all again so much. It means a lot.

Not dead I promise. I just started school again and it’s been an absolutely hellish week.  
          
          I’m not sure if I’ll be able to upload this Sunday or the next, but I SWEAR that the chapter is in the process of being finished and edited. I just have five new professors who are very needy that are pining for my full attention. Y’all bare with me as I’m adjusting to my new schedule over these next few weeks.
