Sometimes I write poems and save them as drafts and then forget about them 
          
          So if I upload one with a date from a while ago that’s what happened because it was from that date I just don’t upload it until now 

Thank you so much for 500 reads on Day by Day!! The past few days I’ve been posting drafts I had saved, I don’t know if there’s any way to tell the differenc??? But for various reasons, at the times I wrote them (various months ago) I didn’t feel comfortable sharing them then, but I am now, so enjoy <3

Sorry for all my ridiculously short poems, I have no joke or explanation they just are. 

Ok last night it was midnight and I went and sat in my backyard and wrote like 4 long poems, 3 of them I can’t post/didn’t make any sense but the one for today is the one I deemed ok. Maybe you will see the others some day but I dunno, have a good day! (Also v nice u should try sitting outside at night it’s lit)

Me, writing at night sometimes: *the most beautiful poetic thing over ever plopped on paper in my entire life* 
          
          Me, writing late at night tonight: *somehow manages to spell three words so wrong that they autocorrect to shrek without noticing* 

I’ve decided I like variety, and also not finishing a story I start so I think I’ll post the first chapter of a thing I wrote pretty late at night but am pretty happy with... sorry? 

Imagining 
          That I’m holding you 
          Is bliss 
          
          Until 
          I open my eyes 
          And remember 
          How ugly 
          Reality really is

Lol today’s poem is just an existential crisis in writing
