@JaneHolmes Have you discovered the news feed yet? It on the wattpad home page and makes it easy to keep track of what is going on.

          It lets you know when someone has replied directly to you (that is what the @tags are for. Also lets you know when someone has voted for your story or added your book to their reading list etc. I love checking it out each day, makes me get a big fat goofy smile. 

@JaneHolmes You should whack a quick cover on, give more of a feel for your story. I think a lot of people skim past the ones with no covers. I put mine together pretty quickly, not exactly what I wanted but a little prettier than the standard one. 

@JaneHolmes thanks Jane - it is very encouraging. lol - that's just too funny. Well done on the fan. It is a good feeling when someone fans you huh. My son was my first fan lol. I can see the appeal with Wattpad. It is very addictive. I am trying to keep away a bit because I'm not getting much else done - it is easy to lose way too many hours if you aren't careful lol. @Ellem_A I see you have lots of reads and comments for Silverlighters which must be very encouraging. Keep up the writing. I am still getting to grips with wattpad. I seem to have accidently voted for my own story while checking out what things do, which is a bit embarrassing. I now have 51 reads but am still awaiting my first comment. I have been fanned by someone else so presumably they read my story and liked it. 

@JaneHolmes Hi Jane. How you liking Wattpad? I'm glad you did or I wouldn't have know you had joined. Thanks for your comment on my story. Would love to know what your daughter thinks if she reads it. I have four days of holiday left :( x 1000000. I ave read half of yours. Like it so far. Will comment on it once I have finished the 1st chapter. I left you a message on the Indie circle board in the Wattpad feed. Talk soon. WIll try to read the rest tonight

@Ellem_A Thanks for the welcome. I saw your facebook mention of wattpad and thought I would give it a go. I am so rubbish at this that I hadn't actually realised that I had fanned you but I am glad that it happened anyway. I have read the first few parts of your story and think it is looking really good. I am sure my daughter will love it. Keep going and hope your holidays are going nicely. Weather here atrocious. Sports day at the school postponed due to waterlogged field. First time in 13 years of sports days. I have 3 children so have been to too many! Last one though. Keep writing and let me know what you think of mine if you get a chance to read it.

@JaneHolmes - OMG - I feel like such a % #@ class="on-user-mention" href="/user/.">@. Was rushing through replying to comments etc and I KNEW I knew your name and it has been bugging me since I commented on your message board. Then BANG just as I was finally dozing off I figured it out. I will have a look at your story tomorrow - (it is like 2am here ) but now I will sleep much better. I am fanning you right back and adding your book to my reading list so I know when you post more. I am slowly learning the ropes. Night.
