Slovenian born and raised. Hiking enthusiast and passionate cook.
I studied social sciences and foreign languages at universities in Germany, Hong Kong, Poland, and Italy. It was during my studies that I discovered my passion for translation and writing. I previously worked as a translator at universities in Italy and Greece and taught English and German as a foreign language at elementary and high school level. As a freelance writer, I've written for online travel journals and university magazines. After a decade of rockin' around the world, I returned to the gorgeous Slovenian highlands where I now live with my black cat Miki.
As a fan of both dreamy and pragmatic-driven persons, I tend to create unique characters who take paths they thought they never would and learn to listen to their inner voice and follow their passion. Quirky dating, failed attempts at romance, wrong perceptions, and funny travel adventures make their stories. My work is aimed at young adults, those young at heart, and all who crave a light read with lots of travel, fun, and new discoveries.
»BAUHINIA RHAPSODY: Tatie's Adventures in Hong Kong« is my first novel and a light read packed with humor, quirky romance, and travel discoveries.
