I've never understood people's affinity for Hero Killer Stain or how anyone resonates with him. Heroics by default are subjective and thus there is no right or wrong way to do them. To murder people because they do not follow your subjective way is childish and it angers me how he is praised as some sort of nuance'd character. I've heard people go so far as to call him an anti-hero. Anti-heroes generally have the people's interest at heart. They kill those who are a threat to their community and its inhabitants, not their own morality. Whereas the pro heroes may be in it for the money but the results speak more. They get shit done. For the most part, each pro hero has saved lives in mass. And all they ask is a fucking pay check so they aren't forced to Peter Parker all day in their mother's basement. This is my small gripe with the BNHA fandom. The manga even says that Japan mirrored American comics but I honestly consider Magneto or Dr. Doom closer to heroes or great villains than Stain could ever be.
