Hi readers! Chapter 2 has been released for Dark Bonds: The Demon Within. Here's a little snippet:

Math class was the worst. Not because Jay was bad at it—he was actually pretty good with numbers—but because it was the one class he shared with Nick. Nick was the kind of bully who made it his mission to ruin Jay's day. Today was no exception.

As the teacher scribbled equations on the board, Jay felt something hit the back of his head. He turned slightly and saw a crumpled piece of paper land on his desk. He glanced behind him, and there was Nick, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Hey Jarebear18,

I recently went through your story and found it to be quite compelling. Your writing style is captivating, the way you build atmosphere
and bring characters to life is truly impressive. It sparked an idea in me, I believe your work would translate beautifully into a comic format.

I specialize as a commissioned artist who adapts stories into manga and comics, and I’d love to bring your story to life as a comic/manga.
No pressure, though. I think your work would look awesome in comic form. If you’re interested in a paid collaboration, I’d be happy to discuss
how we can make your story come alive visually please don't hesitate to reach out to me on Discord (username: peter_cypher21) so we can discuss
this further. I look forward to your response.

          Warm regards,
          Peter.

Hi there, I'm Jonathan. I am trying to learn from others because I am still a relatively new writer on this platform. I voted for your story as I really enjoyed reading it! As someone who is new to this platform, I would greatly appreciate any guidance you could provide.

@Jarebear18 Alright thank you so much, your word means a lot.
Actually, I made use of amazon kDp platform. When I publish with amazon kDp, I have more control over price and formats, my books usually reach a global audience instantaneously, and I get royalties on every sale, among other benefits. I had hoped Wattpad would have something similar, but it seems to work differently now.
But based on what you've told me and what I've observed from other writers here, I believe Wattpad might be the best place for me to build an audience, interact with readers (something I've long wanted), and I will continue publishing my work on kDp in order to receive royalties and enjoy other benefits.

@authorjona Hi Jonathan. First of all welcome to Wattpad. And I'm actually quite new here too but I'll try my best to help out. You should basically let your imagination run wild. Just write anything about anything. You could have your story structured, plan every chapter. Or just wing it, write whatever comes into mind (that's what I'm doing).

Hi readers! I am currently writing a Light Novel . The genre is a supernatural, dark and a some few comedy parts. I have finished chapter 1. But I will be posting everyday or at least 3 days in a week.

          Here's a little synopsis:
In a dark and dangerous world where spirits and demons threaten humanity, Jay, a lonely and troubled teenager, becomes entangled in a supernatural battle for his life and soul. The story begins with Jay encountering Ellie, a ghost searching for her lost parents. Despite her spectral nature, Ellie becomes Jay's first true friend, and the two form a bond as they navigate a city teeming with danger.

Their journey takes a terrifying turn when a wolf-like creature hunts them down. Desperate to protect Ellie, Jay makes a fateful decision to accept the power of a mysterious and sinister voice in his head. This choice transforms him into a demonic version of himself, granting him incredible strength but at the cost of his humanity. With his new powers, Jay defeats the creature, but the demon within begins to take control, threatening to consume his soul entirely.

As Jay struggles with the darkness inside him, the exorcist Chiaki intervenes, determined to stop him. She believes the only way to save the city is to destroy Jay’s heart, which the demon has claimed as its own. However, Ellie refuses to give up on Jay, risking her own safety to protect him. She believes in his ability to fight back and return to his true self.
