Hi, I'm Jason Garner and I live in Torquay, south west England.

I'm crazy about jazz piano and sports - especially sports involving the sea. In my spare time I spend as much time as I can at the beach.

I am a dreamer. I see things in movement. When I imagine a situation it almost always takes place in my mind as a live scenario that plays out before my eyes. I have always assumed that other people see the world this way too, so it has been surprising for me, as I get older, to learn that that isn't necessarily the case.

For as long as I can remember I have been writing. Up in our attic there are piles of exercise books filled with half-finished ideas for books. I am currently working to finish The Mirror Children, a novel about how people use their time.
