I have some most exciting news!
Keshiya is now in the works!
By the kindness and grace of God, I was able to finalize the cast, imagery, plot, cover, and revamp my short story collection in one evening!
I'm hopeful that I'll get the welcome/explanation chapter out today!
I'm really looking forward to this book! I hope y'all will join me as the story unfolds❤️
Sooooo, I have an idea for another short story!
It’ll be an actual story instead of a one shot.
I have the name, the setting, some of the cast, and a whole lot of hope to make it happen.
Buttttt, I need y’all to pray that God will allow me to do it. I’m still on a hiatus, but since it’s a short story, it wouldn’t be a big commitment….
I really want to write it and share it with y’all!

@4thouglory thank you! And good question! The Lord gives me lots of ideas about stories, but He is in charge of when they’re published. I think I was given about four story ideas in 2025, I put together Pinterest boards and imagery for them, but when I tried writing I didn’t have the grace to write. Meaning, it didn’t flow as it would have if God had given me a green light. So I have a ton of stories that are waiting for God’s allowance/yes. I hope I explained it properly!❤️
@JasmynTailor Ahhh! How exciting! Keeping you in my prayers. Honestly one of the things I'm curuous what do you mean “allow you?” I don't fully understand to yeild my gift of writing, and you seem to have more understanding of how to use it, when I have a writing idea, and some plot comes together I do pray about it, but I assume it's from God. (I have moments where it spills out and I have a certainty that it's not me because I have no idea what I'm writing but it comes together so swimmingly.)

God has exceeded every hope, dream, prayer, and whisper these last few months.
I remember praying for my birthday to be in a place filled with love. I lost hope shortly after that prayer, but God reminded me not to think ahead in despair, but to allow Him to show Himself.
My birthday was so so special.
I shared that to say, don’t let yesterday cause you to box God in, or even make you depressed about the future.

I know the book ‘with Abandon’ is a bit old. But I was wondering did Tyra and Daniel ever have any kids of their own and did Tyra become a stay at home step parent after they got married? Would you even think of doing bonus chapters of them in future?
P.S I loved this book ( judging by the comments many people did too) I read it twice, it helped me get through an exam period as it gave me something to look forward too?

They did eventually have kids and Tyra homeschooled Grant, and stayed home with their children.
Maybe one day I’ll give them another bonus chapter. I’d like too, but it’s in God’s hands!
