My love for creating the written word started, funnily enough, with a movie. That movie was Jurassic Park. It came out when I was ten and it fascinated me. I had always been an avid reader; I was part of the "Accelerated Reader" program at my elementary school. I tore through R.L. Stine novels, reading at least one a day. Goosebumps were short, quick reads for me. I loved reading because it really did paint pictures in my head.

When I saw Jurassic Park I was in love. I wanted to create worlds full of such wonder and awe. I began to write a fan-fic sequel. It was silly, needlessly gory, and made no real sense. I was ten. But I had fun making it and my friends had fun reading it everyday to see what I had added.

I wrote in countless notebooks, and chomped at the bit whenever the teachers would give us a writing assignment. One of my teachers called my style "urgent." and "unique." Not to toot my own horn, but I always received request from people to write or rewrite things for them.

I spent most of my time on poetry, and shorter stories. Some are on my facebook, most in my notebooks. They range from deeply personal to philosophical and everything in between.

I want to get my stories out there. I just want to share them. I hope that someone out there will find some entertainment or something moving out of them. Even if one never does, I will continue to write. At the very least for me and my release.

I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
