I'm out and proud, and married to literally the greatest human to ever exist!  I've always had a passion for writing, music #ElderEmo, kayaking, and being outdoors in general.  My wife has encouraged me to pursue the dream of becoming an author.  She's my biggest support and greatest inspiration.  Speaking of inspiration, I draw a lot of it from my own experiences, both good and bad.  I grew up in the 90's/2000's in a military town in the Midwest (the belt buckle of the bible belt to be exact), so I'm no stranger to overcoming adversity.  We've come so far, but we still have a long way to go, and I hope that my story (or a version of it) might help someone else facing the struggles that I knew.  Just know that no matter what you face and no matter who you lose along the way (for whatever reason), there is a life worth fighting for on the other side.
