Author i got a question.. I am making a Jayfer Fanfic and my description says credit to Original author but I don’t know if it’s fine that wattpad says that i acknowledge that the original owner gave me permission to write this since it isn’t the Og story and i don’t know if I have to ask for permission to write a Fanfic using same characters and all. What do I do? Do I got to ask for permission to write a fanfic?
@Astrophile_Ash Heyyy! You don’t need to ask permission to write a fanfic as long as it’s clearly a fanfiction and not copied from the original story. Just give proper credit and add a disclaimer saying the characters belong to the original creator. You should not say the original author gave permission unless they actually did. Wattpad allows fanfics using the same characters if the story is your own. Hope that helps And also.. can't wait for this book !! <3

@Jayfer0115 Honest reply, AMAZING It has so much life and I don't you need to change anything You are number 8 in jayfer!! My honest advice: everything is perfect, but balance out the emotions like if there is only drama for 10 chapters straight then a reader will stops reading, I am not telling you are doing that, it is just an advice And interact with your readers in the comments and the chapters
