I'm not good at ranting, so I might keep it brief, but I can't stand it when people say Jax is a complex character like that. MF is NOT that complex. Some characters are the same type as Jax that have INFINTLY better writing and complax then Jax. Hell, fucking Remmick from Sinner's has better writing and complexity than Jax, and we don't even that much from his backstory aside that he was around when the Celtic Hare happened and was driven by grief, isolation, and a desperate desire to rebuild his lost community. He uses music to manipulate and forcibly assimilate others into his own surrogate vampire family. Gary Barkovitch, both the book and the film are infinitely better than Jax EVER will be
