          Welcome to May! It's also my birth month, so I'm really excited about this month.
          I've not been as consistent on this platform as I would like, but that's about to change.
          After much thought, I have just withdrawn my latest work, Never Us, from the Open Novella Contest 2026. I wasn't able to meet the deadline because of other urgent commitments, but don't worry, I will still complete it. In fact, I'm uploading a new chapter today!
          Thank you all for supporting my books. The Pretend Game is currently at 991 reads. Just 9 more reads to reach 1k. How crazy is that??!

          I'm beyond excited because honestly, I didn't even think I'd come this far. Unfortunately, it did not make it to the short list :( Regardless, I'm grateful for the journey and honoured that it made it so far.

          In other news, Fake A Smile has officially been renamed The Pretend Game! I feel like this new title captures the heart of the story better and I’m totally in love with it.

Thank you all so much for 500 reads! It might not seem like a lot to some people but it really means a lot from someone who just started her writing journey on Wattpad. This was my debut book. So it's not perfect and it probably has a lot of grammatical errors and plot holes but the fact that it even got recognition at all feels my heart with gratitude. This book has gone a long way and has gotten more recognition than I expected. You guys are truly the best ❤️ Thank you for giving TGWCW a chance. Please continue to support it as much as you can.
