Three:
          Most of the people I transitioned to Wattpad with from PocketWriters are no longer active or have removed their accounts entirely. My friends I know in real life that have Wattpad accounts don't use them anymore. If they all moved on, it's time I moved on as well.
          
          Four:
          Eventually, I would like to refurbish some of my original stories and get them published. That means I would have to take them off Wattpad anyways. Might as well jump ahead a bit and do it now.
          
          This does not mean I will be gone from Wattpad forever. However, if I do return, it will be on a new account under a new username. I will be backing up all the stories I've written on here over the next couple of weeks, and I will take my account down by the first of October.
          
          Thank you all for a good run; it's been a fantastic six years.

Hi. It's been... a long while. I thought it's time to give y'all a proper update. I apologize for the long hiatus; I needed to figure out how to say what I needed to say.
          
          As of now, I do not intent to continue updating anything on Wattpad. I have several reasons for this decision.
          
          One:
          In my opinion, Wattpad has changed too much for the worse since I joined in 2014. What was once a website for sharing legitimate writings, One Direction fanfictions full of cringe, and getting feedback for new authors has now turned into a microtransaction-filled, child-overrun, algorithm RNG-based shell of the website Wattpad once was. 
          
          Two:
          I need to focus on my career. I am a full-time college student (though currently working full-time at an internship) intending to get my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering and my Master's in Electrical Engineering. My journey has been anything but easy. Aside from personal and family issues I won't get into, this is one of the most difficult major programs at my University (or at any University for that matter) and I am spending an average of 60+ hours per week exclusively focused on classes, labs, schoolwork, etc. I have a long, hard journey ahead of me and it's far from over.

Hi, I'm not dead. I know it's been a while; sorry about that! I'm going to start writing again soon. Updates will be slow (and it's likely Wattpad will not see them first since the quality of stories on this website has dropped significantly in my opinion), and I will likely rewrite a few things, but I will be writing nonetheless!

I don't know what the future looks like.
          
          Let me just get that out there, because the rest of this will be aimless wandering.
          
          I'm so distracted by daily stresses that I find it hard to write. It's hard to focus on anything anymore without motivation backed by potential success. I see writing as a hobby, not as a career. Sometimes hobbies need to be left alone for long periods of time and that's okay, and I'm hoping people understand that.
          
          Wattpad's reputation is... not good. Wattpad has become a breeding ground for terribly-written fanfiction by fandom-obsessed kids (who probably aren't old enough to be on the site in the first place). I can't find a good story anymore without scrolling through hundreds of bad stories.
          
          Various Wattpad awards, which are supposed to promote good stories, have lost merit as some of them have been assigned to the very stories I'm trying to avoid. How am I supposed to find anything anymore?
          
          I don't see success through my writings if I continue on Wattpad. I can't rely on miracles. This simple, crushing reality leaves me wondering if I should take all my stories down. But then what?
          
          My writing used to be fueled by my emotional turmoil. I don't find anything to write about anymore, even through the midst of the roughest turmoil of my entire life.
          
          So, I don't know what the future holds, and that's genuinely terrifyingly.
          
          One last thing:
          I'm gay. I'm also Christian.
          
          Don't tell me I can't have both. My sexuality and my faith aren't mutually exclusive.

          If you are anti-LGBT, stop reading my stories. Now. Go to a different profile. I can't reveal anything else without spoilers! :)
          
          At the same time, if you are anti-religion, please leave as well. This goes for ANY religion. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. Again, I can't reveal anything else without spoilers! :)

          I promise, my slight ADD will eventually settle on editing one story at a time to the point of publishing another chapter. I have four different chapters waiting to be published, I just haven't had the time nor inspiration to finish them... Oops! I've been journaling quite a bit recently which has helped to alleviate my Writer's Block.

I have a lot going on, both positive and negative. I'll get into more details later, but because of a personal decision, it is very likely that parts will be published more often now. I am optimistic for what the future holds.

Why hello there!
          Just wanted to let those of you who are keeping up with my stories know:
          From now on, my stories will be dealing with a lot of touchy subjects. Do not be surprised if my stories start leaning more towards the mature side of things! 
          What can I say? Books are an escape from reality, so why not highlight the issues that make us escape reality in the first place?

I promise more updates are coming! My method for combatting this block is writing five things at once, so that’s a thing. Also, I finished my last few responsibilities and obligations until mid-February so I should have a lot more time to write!
