I received 2 identical messages from 2 different profiles, referring 2 different books.
This wouldn't be worth mentioning if the messages hadn't been the same literally word for word.
This is my abbreviation of the message:
I saw that you read this or that book. I think we like the same books. Why don't you check this book out. Link and snippet to the book. And the message ends with 'many trust me'.

The only things that were altered in this message were the titles of the books mentioned. Even the snippets were the same.

Is this a thing? Is there some kind of loyalty program for referrals? Or is it much worse, someone trying to get access to my info by me clicking the link.

Hey lovely readers

If you like college romance with:

          • slow-burn tension that makes your heart do gymnastics
          • love interests who are annoying AF but hot
          • best friend chaos that could get you expelled
          • and a main character one sarcastic comment away from meltdown

Meet Elena — overthinking queen, “Not Interested In Him” CEO (lying).
And Ryan — hoodie boy, smirks a lot, ruins lives.

          Accidental eye contact ✅
          Spicy banter ✅
          “Just kiss already” moments ✅

No toxic drama. Just vibes, butterflies, and emotional chaos

Hello. I'm Ashleigh Wilkes. My books were plagarised, I deleted my account and am back after a long break.

I was a reader long before I became a writer. I started writing my first book, Karma, because I was appalled at the deluge of weak women characters in the majority of books here, and the way in which these "heroines" were portrayed. They were "too kind", too quick to forgive, too easy to manipulate, too ready to put up with degradation, humiliation and abuse, so bewilderingly shallow that they were ready to overlook all the humiliating acts they had suffered at the hands of these despicable, cheating, male protagonists --- monsters beneath the guise of their "Greek-Godlike" looks and cocky smirks.

A woman, even a fictional character, is strong, brave and beautiful, and she deserves fidelity, loyalty and respect. These fictional spineless creatures were caricatures, and an affront to real women everywhere. I started writing feverishly because of my fury. I had to vent my frustration in words.

          Do check out my works.
