          It's been a long time since I've posted here. I feel like I owe guys a long explanation, but rest assured I've been working in the background with my books.           Currently working on His Mermaid Mate (The Alpha's Siren) - I know, I'm sorry, I've been saying for a long time that I'll work on it, but this book is very complicated book to write, and I need a tantamount of time and patience to actually make it 'fairly' decent. The amount of worldbuilding this book needed is a complete surprise to me. I promise, it will be out this year.

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I know, I'm late, but belated. Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed holiday season. New Story Alert. Blood Painting is back. I published this book here in the past, but didn't finish it for some reason. I am rewriting it, now with much polished plot. If you're into paranormal/mystery/horror genre, this book is for you. This is an episodic novel, slow update but each update is around 8-15 chapters depending on how long the episode is.
          
          This novel is actually a failure, when I wrote it. The aim is to write a frame tell novel, which later I realized after a few more research that I am not writing a frame tell novel, but an episodic novel. I'm trying to adapt Bob Ross's philosophy on this one, 'we don't make mistake, we have happy accidents.' Lol. 
          
          Good news, last year I'm a bit inactive due to personal endeavors. But!!! those has been successfully accomplished already so that means I have more time to write this year.  Yay! "Writer's block, layuan mo ako this year." Haha. Hopefully. I should be able to write more. I already wrote down all the plans for story to be written and self-published this year and hope I can accomplish them all. 
          
          On the sad note, one of my puppies died today. He's been with me for 6 or 7 years, I think. This book isn't supposed to be posted today, but I need a distraction, or I'll cry myself to death and I don't want that. This book is supposed to be posted alongside with 'His Secret Mate', but I haven't even finished the first subplot of the book. It should be posted late January or Early February.

          Lol. I know we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but if you live in the US, then may you have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.           I actually just updated the manuscript for Zen's story this week, so if you have the older version on your Kindle, I recommend deleting it permanently and reordering it to update it since it is free. The older version has 260 pages, and the updated one has 307 pages, so there are more pages to read. (●'◡'●)

          I'll be back here on Wattpad, probably around the last week of December, with two new stories. I know I'm pretty slow this year, but it is actually something I expected, given that I am in Phase 3. Phase 4 should be much more forgiving for my writing schedule. Right now, I'm holding down two managerial positions in two different companies in the US, and with the holiday coming in, it’s pretty fun—chaotic but fun. But that doesn't mean my inner child is not complaining about my lack of time to work on my novels. 
          
          However, I'm glad that I got the time to rework Zen's novel, as it reminded me of the value of accepting the changing season. In our life, there will be seasons for growth (spring), seasons for prosperity (summer), seasons for harvest (autumn), and seasons for endings and death (winter).  And I'm a spring person, that's why my pen name is Daffodil.  
          
          Now, winter does not mean literal death, but something has to die to give way to new sprouts to come out during spring. And right now, phase 3, as I call it, is the season for winter.  Whatever season you are in life right now, I'm rooting for you. <3

          Just a bit of an update, I'm currently working on Nickolai's story (Sotiria's Legacy) and Ice's Story (The Winter Thief). To those who still remember Icarus' story, Ice is his older sister. She has a short story available, but I decided to write a full novel. I'm still contemplating if I should write it in full Tagalog (If I do this, I'm going to cry a river during the translation Phase when I publish it) or full English, but Sotiria's Legacy will be in full English. 
          
          Just a bit of a Teaser for 'His Pretend Mate'. I know I ended it in Cliffhanger when I published it here on Wattpad, but that's because I can't decide on Duology or just ending it in one story. I decided to end it all in just one book and got to a total of more than 100k words when I decided to add 15 more chapters to it.
