Ugh, I really feel discouraged and like I'm falling behind in clinicals. I don't think I am but it's really bothering me.

          "It's okay, I won't let you fall," his words weren't reassuring as she hung precariously over the edge. 
          
          However, for some reason, she couldn't help but fall for them when she saw the urgency in his eyes. The unspoken, "trust me," in their depth was enough for her to find what precious little strength she had left. Swinging herself slightly, she extended the fingers of her free hand up towards him, hoping and trustful that he would catch her. 
          
          The strength and warmth of his fingers wrapping around her other hand was all she needed. Inhaling a deep breath as she felt herself relax slightly knowing he would never let her go. 
          
          She was safe.

Imagine being so secure in someone's love for you that you don't need to hear "I love you" back, you just know they love you by their actions.

haha I swear, I need to make a book that's just my diary because I need somewhere to complain. 
          
          In other news, this week just needs to end already.

So, work this weekend was fun. I've been dealing with someone who's the same rank as me but accepted the position to be the section leader, and basically she just wanted the title but not the work. So she'll make sure you know she's the section leader when it's convenient to her. I've been stepping back so she can basically take the reigns, but she's constantly having me or person B do her work for her. Ok, whatever, the purpose is to get things done for higher up. 
          
          But this weekend she got angry because B and I didn't go into a meeting since we were busy doing our stuff (which we had to skip lunch later to get some of it done). So she came out yelling at us, then yelling down the hallway as we're walking to the meeting. B is trying to give me the changes (that him and her worked on the day prior) to brief, then said he'll take it this time because we couldn't get 2 words in to each other for me to know what the changes were to brief.
          
          Then after lunch she wanted a "discussion" which was just her yelling and anything we said was thrown back at us. Which, I'm not going to deal with someone and try to talk to you when you're letting emotions take over. This also equates to us not being team players. So at that point I decided I don't have a section leader anymore and I'm going to make sure higher knows this. B talked to someone higher as well about it.
          
          So, yes, "I'm the captain now" she can go screw off :p
