Soooo the “one extra chapter” I kept talking about somehow turned into THREE chapters instead?????
          
          Idk what happened, somewhere along the way this comeback arc started feeling weirdly personal lol
          
          I just uploaded the first one and now I’m sitting here genuinely emotional about this era all over again??? UGH.
          
          Like why did writing them walking back into the studio together actually get to me this hard T_T
          
          The first time I wrote parts of this era I think I was mostly focused on plot + scenes + symbolism + trying to survive the emotional damage in real time 
          
          But revisiting it now after sitting with the girls’ music, the tours, the solos, the YEARS between everything…
          
          something shifted???
          
          Idk. Something about writing them coming back together again made everything suddenly feel connected in a way that’s genuinely messing with me emotionally now.
          
          Like why do I suddenly feel like the unofficial 5th member processing comeback emotions WITH them for real  this arc is literally altering my brain chemistry omfg
          
          The excitement feels heavier now somehow. Happier but also sadder??? Which makes zero sense but also complete sense.
          
          Maybe it’s the red days coming.
          Maybe it’s emotional instability.
          Maybe it’s because I miss the girls so much.
          
          probably all three honestly lmaooo
          
          ANYWAY before I spiral harder—

Okay I fear these revisions are becoming their own separate beast at this point 
          
          I went in thinking I was just tweaking emotional beats and suddenly I’m 12 chapters deep adding scenes, expanding moments, and accidentally planning an entirely NEW CHAPTER inside Arc 1 because apparently the full album rollout unlocked something in my brain 
          
          And ngl… now that we actually have the complete visuals/music to work with, some parts of the story feel SO different rereading them back. Like certain scenes suddenly hit me in the chest in ways they didn’t before and now I’m sitting here staring at my screen like “oh. OH????”
          
          Anyway I’m genuinely excited for my rereaders because some of these updated chapters are getting a lot MORE food now. Especially from their reunion scene all the way up until the confession arc once i’m done  maybe my sleepless nights and unhealthy amount of Advil along the way will be worth it. Lol
          
          Okay love you bye before I open another chapter and ruin my own sleep schedule again (let’s just pretend it hasn’t been ruined since day 1) 

Hi JL babies. First and foremost, I missed you guyssss.  
          
          Okay. Quick check-in before anyone files a missing person report. 
          
          So… I made the mistake of rereading my stories to get back into the zone and realized how much I’ve grown since then (at least I think I did. LOL)
          
          And now my brain won’t drop it and suddenly I’m noticing everything??? No, seriously.
          
          Like… why does this line feel like it could hurt more?
          Why did I let this scene get away with being just okay?
          Who the fuck approved this?
          
          Apparently me. Unfortunately. 
          
          So now I’m in this very predictable loop of:
          ‘just one more fix’ → finds five more → suddenly it’s 3am → repeat. (I wish I was exaggerating tbh)
          
          So yeah, I started the investigation with the mother story of it all—Deadline Book 1.
          Act 1 is currently a work in progress… I’ve already started updating it.
          
          Nothing about the story is changing. I promise, just making it land the way it should’ve the first time.
          
          If you ever feel like revisiting, did anything hit differently this time? Or is it just me overanalyzing my own life choices???
          
          Book 2 is still ongoing. So are First Beat and Faultline. I just need the foundation to behave first before everything else follows.

          I’m technically on hiatus and the girls drop a lead track they co-wrote with visuals that look like they crawled straight out of my Deadline moodboard. 
          
          I won’t spiral publicly, I’m trying to be a responsible adult. 
          
          But I won’t pretend my brain didn’t light up a little.
          
          Let’s just say certain themes hit a little too close to home.
          
          The imagery and lyrics?
          The control vs. release tension?
          The forward motion under pressure?

          Now let me go on a little mission to “rest” while I’m absolutely not decoding symbolisms until sunrise.

          DEADLINE is still my first baby, and with the Asia tour wrapping up, she has my attention whether I behave or not.
