here's the thing, guys...
as most of you know, my girlfriend, kendall (kenniwenni), lives in arizona. we've been together for over ten months, but we've never actually gotten the chance to spend any time together in person. we have to overcompensate with late-night phone conversations, skype, and lots and lots of letters and packages. it's been really hard on both of us. my parents have been against our relationship from the start, primarily because they are avidly anti-gay. since i've come out i've gotten hell from everyone around me. it's been terrible. my parents have banned kendall and me from talking and gone as far as basically cutting me off from the outside world, but we've always managed to find our way back to each other. i love her more than anything else on earth. but the loneliness is starting to wear on her. obviously, my parents will do everything in their power to keep us from seeing each other. and i won't be able to fly out there until i turn eighteen, which is another ten months from now. i want to buy her a plane ticket out here. i've been looking for a job for months, but i haven't gotten so much as an interview anywhere. i've tried to set up my own guitar-lesson business, but i only have one customer. i want to fly her out here for our one-year anniversary in december, but i simply don't have the money for the ticket. i wouldn't have asked anyone for the money unless i'd exhausted all my other options. i'm sure this sounds like some sort of scam, but those of you who know me know that i'm being serious. i also know that this isn't exactly a traditional cause to donate, but i promise it's a good one. i would be eternally grateful to those of you generous enough to help me out. and once i do find a job, i'll do everything in my power to repay you. even the smallest amount would be appreciated. thank you. i love you guys.
