I'm gonna miss you," she whispers against his chest. 
"I'll miss you too," he murmurs, pressing a kiss on top of her head. 
"I guess this is it then," she pulls back to look him in the eye. 
"Yeah I guess it is," he replies. 
"See ya next year then," her voice strains as she tries her best not to cry. 
"Don't forget me?" his voice is quiet, like he's unsure of his words. 
"I could never," she smiles as the tears fall freely but it's okay, they're both crying which is fine, this is sad, it's okay to cry when you're sad. 
"I won't forget you either," he whispers, "no one could ever forget you." Their hands break apart finally. "See ya."
