Hey, so remember back at the end of July when I left a note at the end of On the Way Down about possibly adding a bonus chapter after the Wattys when I could make updates again? We-ell... a bonus scene, AKA Chapter Thirty-Five, was just added! I was already working on it when On the Way Down was added to a homepage reading list on Valentine's Day, and with so many new readers finding the story this week, it seemed like an appropriate time to finish the bonus scene and publish it. (Also, HI and WELCOME new readers! I love that you're here!)
If you read On the Way Down before the start of this month, I also made some revisions and edits to the last few chapters that I'd wanted to spend more time on when I first wrote them (but did not because I was up against the Wattys submission deadline). There's nothing different in terms of the overall story, but there are some writing improvements I made to those chapters (IMO).
