I'm 36 and blessed with two wonderful kiddos whom I love with every beat of my heart... Back on October 10, 2016 I had a mammogram of my left breast and it showed that I had a spot , so then I was scheduled to have an Ultrasound Biopsy two weeks later on October 24, 2016 and a few days later I got a call from the Drs and they said the spot had grew from 4cm to 6cm. They set me up an appointment to discuss my options , but basically they give me the only option and it was to do surgery ... So they wanted to go ahead and set me up a date to come in for pre-op & schedule a date for surgery to do a double mastectomy , cause they believed it was an early stage of breast cancer but wouldn't be for sure if it was benign or not until they got in there and sent it off to the pathologists .. They scheduled my surgery for November 28, 2016 .. The surgery went well but was painful .. Got released to go home the next day and about a week later i got a call from the Dr and he said everything looked good and the pathology report came back normal , the cancer was Benign ! They put expanders in and Ive been going every two weeks to get saline injections put in each breasts to form them the size I want to have ... Now gonna be having my reconstruction surgery April 3, 2017 ... #NeverGiveUp#
