For anyone confused about the suddenly uploaded story, sorry about that! I had unpublished it briefly for a contest I was working on, but it seemed time to post it back up. Thank you to all my Followers for joining me; I hope you find the entertainment you're looking for! ^^

Part 2 of my short story "The Sofa In The Lake" is up! We meet several new characters and get a bit more foreshadowing. I really enjoyed writing the robots in this scene; they are what I consider to be the typical goofy duo. Does that mean they can be trusted, though?

Fun Fact: I wrote this story in three weeks in response to a self-imposed prompt challenge I posted on my website. I got several interesting prompts back from readers that I could pick from, and a friend suggested "An object in a place where you wouldn't expect it to be, like a pop machine in the sewer." The theme of water stuck, and the story unfolded pretty much by itself after that! There have been some changes since then - namely, the italicized additions at the beginning of each section - but most of the story was written in three weeks and posted in three parts.

          More coming! Thanks for reading!
