“Few things leave a deeper mark on a reader than the first book that finds its way into his heart. Those first images, the echo of words we think we have left behind, accompany us throughout our lives and sculpt a place in our memory to which, sooner or later – no matter how many books we read, how many worlds we discover, or how much we learn or forget – we will return.”

Who am I?

Four words: I am a reader.

I was born in the small ‘town of everlasting peace’, as the locals like to call it. Many years have gone by since that fateful day, and here I am, typing this, all grown up. You may wonder; what happened during the years in between? All I can tell you is this: nothing in the past matters, what does is the man I am today.

So, who is this mysterious figure lurking in the depths of the internet? There are certain scant details you might gather should you ever decide to Google me, information about my past that would prove completely tedious to you, my curious friend.

However, based on the brief glimpses of my collection of profile pictures, you would notice that I am into a brand of music considered rather old-fashioned nowadays. Well, to tell you the truth, I am rather traditional in certain ways, such as the fact that I wish to get married sometime in the future. Yes, I am the hapless romantic; the one who yearns for true love.

Laugh as you shall, because although it sounds silly, I do want a family. I want to wake up in the morning and see the person I love lying beside me; I want to hear the laughter of our kids as we have fun together as a family; I want someone who’ll love me for the grumpy, temperamental, imperfect soul I am; but most of all, I want us to grow old together, and look back on the days gone by, relishing every memory we made along the way.
