It would be interesting. I’m sure you got some good ideas.

Would anyone be interested in a House of the Dragon fic? I got some more Arcane ones lined up but there's a few HOTD ones I'm thinking about editing and publishing. So if anyone's open to that, let me know.
Jerne200
@Jerne200 well, to be frank I'm pretty hesitant on whether to publish or not because I kinda wrote it back when the series came out, I might wait until the next season comes out because I tend to need a wave of inspiration and really immersed into the franchise to be able to write a book consistently. I only posted the question to see if there was anyone interested in the first place. Regarding the problem with the characters, I 100% agree. I think it's so easy to fall into the trap of writing out of character, especially with these kinds of rough ones and many fics do that - no judging from here, I find myself commit that on a regular basis. Anyhow, I think once I've finished 'Summer Love', I'll take a little break anyway 'cause I'm feeling a bit drained.

@Jerne200 I feel kinda guilty saying this, since I’m so behind on reading Summer Love. Still, I’d honestly say I’d happily read another fanfic by you anytime. I really enjoyed House of the Dragon, even with all its flaws. But I haven’t found many fanfics that I’ve actually gotten into. A lot of them tend to soften the characters too much, turning them into simple “good guys” and stripping away the moral complexity that made them so compelling in the first place.

I accidentally unpublished my book, so I'm so sorry but you might get dozens of notifications in the next minutes...
