I'm just someone that has a lot of stories to tell about things that have happened to me in my life. Being the daughter of a millionaire allowed me to live overseas and live a very luxurious lifestyle. Once the oil industry crashed in the 80's, our family lost everything. My mother died that same year, and my father became my number one enemy. Although we once had all the money ever needed, the abuse started at an early age and got worse when the money left. This is the age I started writing because I had no one to talk to.
Emancipated at age 16, I started another life which led me down a path that I would choose again if I had too. Although death continued to surround me by the loss of my husband, I was able to find the strength and raise two children on my own. 
I write short stories, and I mean short. I see all of the ones on this site are many chapters long. These are memories I have told my children and my friends. I have so many crammed in my head that I have needed to share for years. I hope some are inspiring to others and hope that some of them help other people get through grief and the loss of a loved one.
I mainly write non-fiction but will occasionally attempt to write something I have not been through myself. Hope you enjoy traveling along.
