@JerryTeddy That is... Actually one of the important reason why I quit Wattpad, really. Not being selfish or anything, but I rarely get comments on any of my books. I just thought that no one liked that "Thing" anymore, so I also stopped. Like for instance, I wrote minecraft books since it was... Sort of popular back in '17-18 and I was in that phase too. Luckily, I got alot of votes and even comments (Shout-out to that one person who always commented on my first minecraft fic, they're gone now T~T I miss ya buddy)
So I made a new one, which was a big hit. And... Yeah, it slowly lost interest. It seems like the main factor of it is its trends and uniqueness, but I don't see it working either. Now I only get votes (Which was still appreciated) sometimes people leave a comment and you have no idea how much it matters to me, but it only happens once a few months, even a year. Anyway, I had enough rambling, just hope writers and artist alike would spread this issue too.
To readers (also note to self-) Don't be a silent reader when you really like their work, they won't judge you or anything, just say something nice and it helps writers understand that their books are appreciated and have a great motivation to continue. You're not annoying for doing it constantly (Unless it's a bot, ofc)
