I'm on a bit of a hiatus right now, trying to juggle work, school and free time at once. If I do release chapters, they'll have a bit of a bigger pause between them until I got everything sorted out.

Writing applications is stressful as fuck.
You go to a website, find out everything about the company, but then you still have NO IDEA who to write to! And if you get a name to address, then you scroll down a bit further and you find yet another name. And another email address. And then you find a third. And a fourth. And by the end of it you're just like "Well damn, who am I supposed to write to?" so you send a message to all of them and you get not a single reply. Then you head to the place you want to work at, hand in an application as paper, and they just go "Oh, you could've just checked our website and sent it to that person ^^"
So yeah I'm doing fine, how about everyone else?

Sooo... There's been a lot of stuff happening recently.
Am about to lose my job and with that my school, gotta worry about money and tbh I can't be fucked to work with my current company. Which is also why I didn't update anything recently.
So yeah, that means I'm going on a small break from Wattpad. I don't know how long, I just know that I need this time to become mentally stable again so I don't break down crying every 10 seconds and so I can find a way out of this.
I'm sorry, but I just need this. I'll occasionally reply to comments, but I won't update. However when the next story updates, you'll know I'm back.

Here's something I find very important that @p0tat0-g0ddess already mentioned recently. It's sort of sad that comments on stories have turned out to be something of a rarity. Comments encourage writers to continue writing, and to get new ideas. They help cheer up their day and give them the feeling that books are genuinely appreciated. Votes are there for that reason too, tho comments make this much more personal. They allow criticism or just express joy and excitement about a chapter. This is also why so many books of mine are discontinued, because it just feels like they're just not interesting anymore. So, I encourage you to comment on my books, and maybe some other people's books too. You might just make them very happy and appreciate their work more.
@JerryTeddy I think it's because we've grown up and stuff in my case back then I commented alot of stuff that is cringe in my own standards right now so I stopped and also I used to curse in the comments before but sometime afterwards (is it because of webtoon buying wattpad?) you can get reported and banned for cursing in the comments and I did get notified by wattpad to stop cursing in the comments so that just stopped entirely it's sad D:
@JerryTeddy That is... Actually one of the important reason why I quit Wattpad, really. Not being selfish or anything, but I rarely get comments on any of my books. I just thought that no one liked that "Thing" anymore, so I also stopped. Like for instance, I wrote minecraft books since it was... Sort of popular back in '17-18 and I was in that phase too. Luckily, I got alot of votes and even comments (Shout-out to that one person who always commented on my first minecraft fic, they're gone now T~T I miss ya buddy) So I made a new one, which was a big hit. And... Yeah, it slowly lost interest. It seems like the main factor of it is its trends and uniqueness, but I don't see it working either. Now I only get votes (Which was still appreciated) sometimes people leave a comment and you have no idea how much it matters to me, but it only happens once a few months, even a year. Anyway, I had enough rambling, just hope writers and artist alike would spread this issue too. To readers (also note to self-) Don't be a silent reader when you really like their work, they won't judge you or anything, just say something nice and it helps writers understand that their books are appreciated and have a great motivation to continue. You're not annoying for doing it constantly (Unless it's a bot, ofc)
@Amy_CP lol- Yeah no that's a thing, people just don't comment anymore. I don't exactly know why but it's getting kind of sad, especially when I look at my bigger projects like Fading Lights and realize that no one bothers to ever give me some sort of signal again on if they enjoy it or not- XD Exactly, me too! It's been a while since I last had a comment that I could reply to without it being just "when is that book being continued" or "are you dead or something". It's depressing! I hope so too, especially since those comments motivate me to continue planning new books. Like, the teaser that I recently released for Little Lost Realm got no votes or even comments and now I don't know if I should just drop it or eventually release the book to the public

Every story, including Fading Lights, will continue very slowly. Tho, don't expect chapters for the next 2-3 weeks. I'll pick up writing at Dec 1st (latest date) again. Maybe in between I'll publish one or the other chapter, but I need to take care of my mental state now.

So.... it's been stressful recently. It was very stressful, I got into a new workplace and am going to school again, so, book updates will slow down a lot right now. I just can't find any concentration for it recently.
Maybe I'll take a small break, but we'll have to see.
