Can someone please tell me what is wrong with people?
I (was) a dancer and tonight was my recital. I was confident, ready to go out there and preform when a girl in my class hits me with a, "oh so I was talking to my mom after the rehearsal and she was like 'why is that girl behind you even there? She has no emotion or excitement' and I totally agreed with my mom, so girl you just have to be better"
And then like a minute later I had to go on stage. Like wth
Why tf would you say something like that? What is wrong with you??
My confidence was completely shattered into a million pieces and I just had to go out there and act like everything was fine.
Yay I love my life.
