            thank you so much!! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the story so far—that honestly made my day. Don’t worry, I’m definitely continuing it, I promise I didn’t just abandon it into the void. A new chapter is coming soon! The whole plot already exists in a Word document, I just need to find the time (and motivation) to turn it into actual readable chapters.
            
            If you’re in the mood for more, feel free to check out my other story, “The Foster Brothers I Never Asked For.” That’s my main project right now, so it gets updated a lot more regularly. It’s a YA story with some psychological depth—but also plenty of humor and chaos, so maybe that’s your thing too.
            
            But don’t worry, “The Deadline” is definitely not forgotten. And your comment actually gave me the push to work on the next chapter sooner, so thank you for that!!
